We had a lot of fun yesterday in church playing with the live polling software as part of our TXT MSG series. The goal was to involve a little fun and interactivity in the service. We posed the simple question “How long have you been attending Lake Hills Church?” Using cell phones, people responded to the question by sending a text message while we displayed the results live on the main screens in real time.
With over 300 responses in all services, the results were that roughly 30% have attended a year or less, 50% have been attending 1-4 years, and 20% attending 5 years or more. I think this is a healthy indicator for a church that is almost 11 years old (young).
Will be using this interactivity throughout the series. What’s another good question we should ask?
