I am a huge golf fan. I fell in love with the sport some twenty years ago when a youth minister I interned with introduced me to the game. I remember missing the ball the first few times I swung at it. For the last twenty years it has been a love/hate (mostly love) relationship.
This weekend I will experience the ultimate as I will be attending the Saturday and Sunday rounds of the 2008 US Open at Torrey Pines courtesy of my older brother. He called me and told me that I was on “scholarship” as long as I could get to San Diego. We are going to have a blast.
Though my family can’t be with me, this is shaping up to be the best Father’s Day ever. You’ll have to follow me on Twitter if you want the updates.
